Mail Merge with encoded data from Excel returns 0 in Word.

When I perform a Mail Merge with data encoded with your encoder from Excel, it returns 0 in Word.


Encode Data in Excel using VBA for the following products:


VBA for 1D Barcodes
VBA for Data Matrix
VBA for PDF417
VBA for QR Code
VBA for Aztec
VBA for Databar
VBA for Universal Barcode Fonts

To resolve the issue, access the Tools menu in Word, select Options, and then go to the General tab and check the box against the "Confirm conversions at open" item. (In Word 2007 it is Office Button > Word Options > Advanced > General > Confirm file format conversion on open).

Attach the data source to the mail merge main document, there is an option to use the DDE method of connection which should read the data as you have it formatted in the table.

If this does not resolve the issue or running a different version of Word, contact Microsoft for the solution.
