How to Create Code 128 Subsets using PCL Fonts?

Hello,

In the Code 128 Barcode Font Package, are there PCL fonts for Code 128 sets A, B, and C?

Thanks!

The PCL font files can be applied to all encoded subsets of Code 128. Encoding data using a font encoder determines the actual subset. A font encoder is a tool that changes the data from one form to another form that the font can understand. An encoder can be a plug-in, add-in, or source code.

In the Code 128 Barcode Font Package (in the PCL folder), there is an example file, data.txt which shows the data is encoded before being sent to the printer.

To encode the data, we suggest using IDAutomation font encoders. Depending on the application used, most encoders are free to use with our demo and sale fonts.

In general, the VBA encoder may be used in Excel to target the subsets code128a, code128b, and code128c functions, as described in the VBA Barcode Macro & Functions Tutorials page (which also contains the download link).
