GS1-128 barcode in XML Publisher report not generating


We are trying to implement GS1-128 barcode for our business. I have tried to follow the steps mentioned in URL: https://support.idautomation.com/Java-Barcode-Font-Encoder-Class/How-to-create-1D-Barcodes-in-BI-Publisher/_3386
However, when we are generating the PDF in our BI Publisher desktop it is not generating the barcode but the encoded value only. The value in XML has been passed 9611804020207027680114, and in PDF output we are getting ÍÄ+pH44f;d!.[Î. Please let me know if I am missing anything and please suggest any debugging steps.

Review step 16 in the 1D Barcodes for BI Publisher. Verify the installed font is the font selected and set in the configuration file. Review Oracle articles on setting up config files for custom fonts.

Hi Ben,
After choosing encoder FontEncoder.Code128a instead of FontEncoder.Code128 in barcodeutilLinear.java a proper barcode is generated in Desktop.
Will check if that is getting scanned properly or not.

Thank you so much for the quick guidance. After adding the font in xdo.cfg file some barcode lines came up but there are still characters in it.
I have attached a picture of the output.
