Downloaded barcode doesn't register with scanner

I went with you guys because your barcodes on your website display picked up with my scanner. However, after downloading your barcode fonts, my scanner is not reading any variation of size. I am a little frustrated. I am not sure what to do.

debrac	Best Answer Hello Jared, Thank you for contacting us. I see that you made your purchase about an hour ago, and you will need to set up your system to encode your data for Code 128 as you cannot use a Code 128 font by itself. There is good information here: Downloaded Font Installation Procedures and a video at the bottom of the page here: Font Encoders for Barcode Fonts that go over how you must install an encoding tool to your application before using the font to complete the barcode. The best tutorial for Code 128 in Microsoft Excel is here: How to create Code 128 barcodes in Excel using VBA using Code 128 Fonts? and after you encode your data there's a good tutorial for the merge to Word here: How to Mail Merge Barcodes into Word using Excel Data If you have already followed all of the steps in the tutorials for encoding your data to generate a scannable Code 128 barcode, please provide the below information for further assistance: 1) The string of data you are encoding in Excel 2) The encoded data shown with a font other than the barcode font such as Arial 3) An image of the completed barcode with the Code 128 font applied 4) Any error messages you are receiving during the encoding process in Excel 5) Any steps in the tutorials that you are having problems with and what those problems are With more information, we will be able to assist you further, Posted 79 day(s) ago (0) (0) Report Abuse
