How can I remove the prefix 0 on the barcode scanner SC4USB

When I scan a barcode all the time a 0 appears at the beginning of the code. I already used all the recommendations in the manual.

What barcode type are you attempting to scan?

We no longer offer support for the SC4USB scanner. However, based on the description of the issue, it does not look as if it is scanner related unless a zero was programmed as a prefix into the scanner.

Verify that the issue is not Code 128 C or Interleaved 2 of 5 encoding with an odd number of characters. If this is the case, then a zero is encoded at the beginning of the data and will display in the scanned result.

Scan the barcode in this post. Does it produce a zero? If not, then the issue is specifically related to other barcodes that may encode a zero (Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128 set C) with odd data. If it does produce a zero, then a zero may have been added as a prefix in the scanner. Reset the scanner to default.

Consider using the latest models of the scanner, the SC5USB or the SC1500.

Thank you Mr. Ben but It is not the problem because I used different types of barcodes and a lot of them do not have zero in the beginning and I used different programs for barcode scanning. Thank you again for your help.

Verify the barcode does not include a zero at the beginning of the data. Unless you are scanning the barcode into an application that may add a zero at the beginning of the data, then the scanner will output the data included in the barcode.
