When I scan a barcode all the time a 0 appear in the beginning on the code. I already used all the recommendation on the manual.

What barcode type are you attempting to scan?

We no longer offer support for the SC4USB scanner. However, based on the description of the issue, it does not look as if it is scanner related, unless a zero was programmed as a prefix into the scanner.

Verify that the issue is not Code 128 C or Interleaved 2 of 5 encoding with an odd number of characters. If this is the case, then a zero is encoded at the beginning of the data and will display in the scanned result.

Scan the barcode in this post. Does it produce a zero? If not, then the issue is specifically related to other barcodes that may encode a zero (Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128 set C) with odd data. If it does produce a zero, then a zero may have been added as a prefix in the scanner. Reset the scanner to default.

Consider using the latest models of the scanner, the SC5USB or the SC1500.

Verify the barcode does not include a zero at the beginning of the data. Unless you are scanning the barcode into an application that may add a zero at the beginning of the data, then the scanner will output the data included in the barcode.
