How do I encode a tab or return in a 2D (QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec) barcode with IDAutomation Barcode Label Software?

1. Run the Label Software Pro and advance through the options to create a label.

2. Place a QR Code, Data Matrix, or Aztec barcode on the label. (Example uses Data Matrix)

3. To enter the Barcode Properties, on the barcode, right-click and select Properties OR double-click.

4. Select the Data Matrix, QR Code, or Aztec tab. Place a checkmark in the Apply Tilde box. Choose Apply.

5. Select the Value tab.

NOTE: The example explains how to encode a function in a standard value.

6. To encode a tab, use ~d009 based on ASCII Table.

The scanned result is:

123456 789012

To encode a carriage return (Enter), use ~d013 based on ASCII Table.

The scanned result is:
123456
789012
