Ambiguous name detected error using the IDAutomationVBA in Excel


Specifically, I am using your IDAutomationVBA.bas file to encode data in Excel, I have imported the VBA file but when I enter my formula, I receive "Ambiguous name detected: Code 128."

The 'Ambiguous name detected' error is caused by using a formula that is located in multiple files; in this case, multiple VBA files are imported.

To resolve the issue, remove additional files with the same, leaving only one. For example, the images show two IDAutomationVBA files in the Modules folder. The solution is to remove all but one of the files.

Right-click on the file and select Remove IDAutomationVBA.
