RS, GS, and EOT in DataMatrix Using the Crystal Reports Native

We bought the Native Barcode Generator for Crystal Reports and need to encode RS, GS, and EOT.

What is the best way to encode them in a DataMatrix barcode?

Operating System: Windows

Application: Crystal Reports

When encoding non-printable ASCII functions such as RS, GS, and EOT, IDAutomation recommends testing the result with the Barcode Decoder App because it reveals these characters in the result to verify proper encoding.

Manual
DataMatrix - Encoding Extended ASCII Characters

Needed string - hidden (extended ASCII) characters are represented in []:
[)>[RS]06[GS][GS]12SGTLVWAG04[GS]F01001P[GS][GS]1JUN316238997 54045995[GS][GS]V316238997[GS]16K10090619[GS]6D20150924095[GS]2L14/LZ/403C1[GS]7Q5KG[GS]
B4147[GS]F02010I[GS][GS]P0BZ 927 327[GS]4LDE[GS][GS][GS]Q30[GS]7Q458[RS][EOT]

Try one of the following:
Solution 1:
• Enable ProcessTilde (processTilde = 1)
• For the DataToEncode, encode RS, GS, and EOT using the format ~dNNN, where NNN is the 3-digit decimal ASCII value.

Example using GS
~d029

Solution 2:
• Enable ProcessTilde (processTilde = 1)
• For the DataToEncode, encode RS, GS, and EOT using the Crystal Reports function chr(NNN), where NNN is the decimal ASCII value.

Example using GS
Chr(29)
