.NET Framework 4.8 Compatible UFL for USPS IMb Barcode

We recently purchased the USPS IMb Native Barcode Generator for Crystal Reports (IDA99-UDL: USPS Intelligent Mail). While the product has been working well on some machines, we've encountered issues on others with the error “The Visual Basic UFL that implements this function is missing (or u2lcom.dll is missing))”.

After troubleshooting, we were advised to install .NET Framework 3.5, which resolved the issue. However, this solution is not feasible for our EC2 servers, as installing .NET Framework 3.5 on a large number of servers is impractical. We kindly request a version of the Native Barcode Generator compatible with .NET Framework 4.8. This would significantly enhance the product's compatibility and ease of deployment on our servers.

Operating System: Windows Server 2016 AWS EC2

Application: SAP BOE 4.3 SP4 + Crystal Reports 2020

We have added the new UFL installer for systems that do not have .NET 2x-3x installed, which is 4.5+ compatible with the package available for download in the store. This is provided in the ".NET Framework 4.5 UFL Installer" folder of the downloaded zip file.

We're in the process of rolling out BOE 4.3 SP4 / Crystal 2020 to over 50 customers, each with at least two environments. A significant challenge we're facing is the requirement for .NET Framework 3.5, which is cumbersome to install on over 100 machines.

Thank you for informing us about this issue with the UFL. We will get our development team working on this as soon as possible to support .NET Framework 4.8.
