Using Barcode Fonts in Crystal Reports ERP

Current Environment:
1. Crystal Reports 2008: I already added "Subkey" PDF and "ForceLargerFonts" in Registry key. It works fine and it exports to PDF to the correct size on Windows 7 (English version).

2. Windows Server 2008 Japanese version (production environment): When I export to PDF, I got only characters, without barcode fonts.

Question:
Is it a conflict with a windows server?

The issue is that fonts are not 'served' as webpages are, so each client machine viewing the report needs to have the font installed locally, which is why we generally do not recommend barcode fonts for server or ERP-based implementations.

Instead, consider the Native Barcode Generator for Crystal Reports. Its implementation is specified in the User Manual.

I have to specify it on the Font Properties, so that barcode font is able to print out correctly, as seen below:

I installed the barcode fonts on Windows Server 2008 R2, but it still shows encoded text.

When using barcode fonts, it is important that each machine viewing the report also has the respective barcode font installed on it – otherwise the encoded text will show (as on the top image).
