Cannot scan barcode in Oracle BI Publisher Report


I am using the IDAutomation code128 font to print bar code in my Oracle BI Publisher report, the barcode is coming fine but unable to scan it. Please let me know if anyone experienced this issue and please provide me with your thoughts on the solution.

It appears that the barcode is not encoded with a font encoder. For barcodes such as Code 128 , we have the java class encoder.

This is a list of BI Publisher barcode implementations:

• Data Matrix in BI Publisher
• QR Code in BI Publisher
• 1D Barcodes in BI Publisher
• PDF417 in BI Publisher

For a simpler barcode type that does not require an encoder, consider Code 39.
