2D Barcode Not Showing In SSRS

Note: A new product (SSRS Native Barcode Generator) has been released since this post was resolved that offers an easier method of generating barcodes in SSRS without fonts or other components.

I have the IDAutomation 2D Barcode Font (to produce DataMatrix) to produce barcodes in SSRS.

I cannot see the barcodes show correctly in Visual Studio:

What do you suggest?

James	Best Answer Make sure to change the PermissionSetName from Execution to FullTrust (step 4 in the SSRS Barcode Generation with the .NET Assembly Guide), then reboot the server. I am now receiving the following error when running the report:

Failed to load expression host assembly. Details: That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers.

The data is not being encoded for some reason, which is why the font is responding as indicated.

Make sure the procedures in the SSRS Barcode Generation with the .NET Assembly Guide are being followed carefully (it is a general guide, so one might need to adjust implementation specifics when necessary, as it applies to SSRS versions 2003 and greater).

Please temporarily change the barcode font to Arial or Calibri for the top-right field and post another set of screenshots so we may analyze the field.
