QR Code Demo doesn't display in Crystal Reports.


I have installed the trial version of the QR Code Font and Encoder. I copy it over from your file as recommended and I can't even get it to print out the actual QR Code itself. It is just showing the actual letters. I have the correct font selected, IDAutomation2D. What might be the issue?

Operating System: Win 7

Application: Crystal Reports - 14.1.1.1036

When you see uppercase letters like this, the IDAutomation2D Font is not being successfully applied to the field for the barcode and the uppercase letters you see are the encoded data. If you have confirmed that the IDAutomation2D font is selected to the barcode field the first thing I would recommend is rebooting the workstation. New fonts that have been installed will sometimes not display in the report until a reboot is done.

After a reboot is done, if you still do not see the completed barcode, the next steps are to answer the following items:

When you look at a Print Preview of the report do you see the barcode?
When you click on the barcode field in Print Preview is the IDAutomation2D font selected?
Are you printing to a printer or to a PDF?
Can you please upload an image of your Crystal Report showing that the IDAutomation2D font is selected for the field for the barcode both in Design View and in Print Preview?
